FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: My venue has asked for PLI and PAT certificates?
A: No problem, we are fully certified in all necessary areas, we have this all ready to send over to relevant parties, just let us know their contact details and we'll sort it

Q: I have 100 guests, can i split a package between 50 crepes and 50 gelato's
A: Sorry, but as this involves more equipment, prep and staff we can't split packages, but we do offer bespoke discounts on combined packages
​
Q: When do you need to book our date?
A: A £50 deposit secures your date, with balance payment around 2 weeks before your date including Gelato menu choices if applicable

Q: I have Crazy Golf, Games or Sweet Cart booked, why do i need to pay a damage deposit
A: As with any rental agreement, we require our equipment to be able to be collected in full with no damage, this means we can keep our pricing fair and reasonable, and also not to impact any future bookings as we may not be able to fulfil those bookings if equipment is missing or seriously damaged on prior events.

Q: What do you need to know about my wedding.
A: We'll usually ask for the following information so we can plan our part in your day:

Contact for the venue

Service start time

Any dietary requirements that you know about

Any access requirements

Contact name for the day, (Not bride or groom, just someone we can contact in the event of issues)

Guest arrival time - If Golf or Games booked we prefer to install these prior to guest arrival

Q: What time will you arrive?
A: For Gelato, Crepes/Waffles or Brownie services we will arrive around 1 hour before your service time and will need to be able access to the service area to set up. We will then leave after service is concluded. If you require us to set up slightly earlier, i.e, if the service position is right next to where you are saying your vows then please make us aware of this and we can plan this

Q: How long to set up
A: This depends on what you've booked and how close we can unload into your venue. but for example

Crazy Golf & Games - Approx 45 mins assuming we can get the van up to the set up point

Gelato - Approx 45 mins depending on which Freezer option you have
-
Crepes - Approx 1.5 Hours before as we need to install the cart canopy and allow the grills to get to temperature

Q: What do you need from the venue
A: If its a venue we have used before we will know the access capabilities and power availability, if its a new venue to us, we'll try to visit the venue beforehand to ensure a smooth service
All Gelato and Cart based service options require flat access and enough width to get the equipment into position and exiting without disrupting your event

Q: What happens if the weather is terrible on our day?
A: We are able to operate inside and outside (Subject to Access requirements) but the best thing to do is contact us, we may be able to help or suggest how we can make it work.
Q: Can you do inside our venue or outside:
A: Whatever you prefer, please make us aware of where you'd like us to be and we'll arrange accordingly, please note we will need to be able to access and exit the venue without disrupting your event, we cannot for instance get between seated tables or across crowded dancefloors etc. We reserve the right to change the service location if access or exit or going to be an issue.

Q: Do you need Power?
A: If you have Gelato or Crepes/Waffles booked then yes, a regular 240v plug socket is needed (2 for Crepes/Waffles) our Sweet Shop Sweet Cart can operate with mains lights (Reg socket) or battery lights if power is not available, please let us know in advance if battery lights are required. All Garden Games and Crazy Golf do not require power.
